Header Overlap

Header overlap is a feature enabling you to place the created header template on top of the content area, like in this example:

It’s a nice way to add transparent headers to your website. Check this video tutorial on how to add a header overlap:

Just like activating the header template, the header overlap feature can be enabled for the whole website, for separate post types and archive pages as well as for separate posts/pages via 3-tier-approach

1. After selecting your main header template you can then activate a Header Overlap.

2. If needed, you can then adjust the header opacity. This will work only in case you didn’t fill the row (WPBakery) / the section (Elementor) of your header template with some solid color.

3. In case your web pages have a dark background in the header area, you can additionally enable Use Light Color Scheme option. This option will automatically apply specified light colors on all header elements, used in your header template. The default logo will be replaced by light logo
