How to Enable AJAX Live Search?

With this feature enabled your website visitors can use a fast live search through different post types getting instant search results.

To enable this feature, go to Theme Options -> Menu & Header -> Layout and scroll down to “Website Search”:

After enabling website search you can then select which type of search layout would you prefer for your website:

Search Layout 

For horizontal & overlay menu layouts:

• Dropdown: this is a classic search dropdown; in this case no AJAX live search is available as an option 
• Fullscreen Overlay: this activates the fullscreen overlay with search field; in this case AJAX live search is available as an option (see below)

For hamburger, perspective & vertical menu layouts there is only one layout available – search input; in this case AJAX live search is available as an option (see below)

AJAX Live Search 

With this option you can enable/disable ajax live search on your website. 

Auto-Suggestions 

Here you can specify the number of live search results to be suggested for the visitor. 

Popular Searches 

With this set of settings you can specify some search terms as suggestions for your website visitors.
