Content Area & Sidebar
This section helps you to make several adjustments to the built-in content layout of the content area, i.e. the area between the header/title area and footer.
Main Content Area
Here you can adjust the paddings and background of the content area using the "Paddings & Background" setting:
- Default Settings: inherit content area settings from theme options.
- Custom Settings: make individual content area settings for this page/post.
For example, if you wish to reduce the gap between the title area and the content of your page/post:
- 1
-
select "Custom Settings"
- 2
-
and use "Top Padding" setting
Of course you can adjust this setting globally for all posts and pages by going to Theme Options → General:
Page Sidebar
Enable or disable post/page sidebar using "Sidebar" setting. Select "Default Setting" to inherit this setting from theme options.
Note: by enabling the page sidebar in TheGem Elementor the default page/post template is automatically changed to "TheGem Boxed":
You can learn more about sidebars and sidebar widgets in TheGem in "Sidebars & Widgets" section.
