How to Apply the Archives Template?

An archive content template created with TheGem’s templates builder can be enabled for all or for individual:

  • blog archives
  • archives of your own CPTs

Activating For All Archives

To activate a blog archives template for all blog archives globally proceed as follows:

Go to Theme Options → Archive Pages → Blog Archives

Select “Templates Builder” in Layout Source

In Blog Archive Template select a template you wish to apply

NOTE: in case your changes are not being applied to some archive pages please ensure that in these archives there are no activated custom settings for archives content layout in Page Options -> Content Layout (“Layout Settings” should be set to “Default Settings”).

Activating For Separate Blog Archives

To activate an archives content template for separate archives proceed as follows:

Click on “Edit” the blog archive

In Content Layout go to “Layout Settings” and select “Custom Settings”

Select “Templates Builder” in Layout Source

In Select Template select a template you wish to apply
