How to Display Popups?

A popup template created with TheGem’s popup builder can be enabled for the whole website, for separate post types and archive pages as well as for separate posts/pages via 3-tier-approach.

Activating for the entire website

To activate a popup for the entire website globally (this will be applied on all single & archive pages) proceed as follows:

Go to Theme Options → General→ Popups

Activate “Add new popup” control

In Popup Template select a popup template you wish to enable

In case you wish to add one more popup, just scroll down and activate“Add new popup” control again

Activating for separate post types and archive pages

For separate post types / single pages: go to  Theme Options → Single Pages → Product Page(for example)

For separate archive pages: go to  Theme Options → Archive Pages → Product Categories (for example)

Scroll down to  “Popups” section

In  “Popups” control change the “Default Settings” to “Custom Settings”.

Activate  “Add new popup” control

In Popup Template select a popup template you wish to enable

Define the triggers to display popup (see description below)

Define additional options to display popup (see description below)

In case you wish to add one more popup, just scroll down and activate “Add new popup” control again

Activating for separate posts / pages

Go to Page Options while editing the page / post

In  “Popups”, select “Custom Settings”

Activate  “Add new popup” control
