Privacy Preferences & Consents

In this tab you can specify the privacy preferences and consents settings. Privacy preferences and consents appear in a modal after a website visitor clicks on “Privacy Preferences” button in cookies consent bar.

Privacy Excerpt Text For Privacy Modal

Here you can specify the description text which will appear in privacy preferences modal above the consents.

Consent Notice Text In Content

This text will be displayed instead of the “blocked” content in case the consent to display this content is not given by the website visitor.

“Save Preferences” Button Text

Text for the “save preferences” button in the privacy preferences modal.


Consents

Here you can add different consents for the privacy preferences modal. Consents are switches which appear in privacy policy modal displaying the current state of the corresponding consent. If consent is given, the switcher is active; if consent is not given, the switcher is deactivated and the corresponding content is blocked.

You can add different consents by selecting it in “Consents” select box and clicking on “Add” button. New consent will be added below, so please scroll down to specify the consent settings.

Privacy Policy

This is an essential required consent stating that the website visitor has read and agreed to your privacy policy.

Google Fonts

This consent controls the embedding of Google fonts in your website.

Required

You can decide if this consent is a required one. Required consent means it is always active and cannot be deactivated by the website visitor.

Active by default

Here you can select the default state of this consent. If not active by default, Google fonts will not be used and will be replaced by the system font in case fallback fonts are not selected (see below).

Consent description

Here you can specify the description text for this consent.

Fallback fonts

If you wish to specify some self-hosted web fonts as fallback fonts for the deactivated Google fonts, you can do it by clicking on “Setup fallback fonts

Google Maps

This consent controls the embedding of Google maps in your website.

Required

You can decide if this consent is a required one. Required consent means it is always active and cannot be deactivated by the website visitor.

Active by default

Here you can select the default state of this consent. If not active by default, Google maps will not be used and will be replaced by the “Consent Notice Text In Content” content which you have specified above.

Here you can specify the description text for this consent.

Consent Poster

Here you can select a static image which will be displayed instead of Google maps.

Tracking

This consent controls the embedding of Google analytics and other tracking script in your website. It refers to all scripts which you specify in “Theme Options -> Custom CSS & JS -> Tracking Code” editor

You can decide if this consent is a required one. Required consent means it is always active and cannot be deactivated by the website visitor.

Active by default

Here you can select the default state of this consent. If not active by default, all scripts added in “Theme Options -> Custom CSS & JS -> Tracking Code” will be ignored and will not be included in your web pages.

Here you can specify the description text for this consent.

Youtube

This consent controls the embedding of YouTube videos in your website.

Required

You can decide if this consent is a required one. Required consent means it is always active and cannot be deactivated by the website visitor.

Active by default

Here you can select the default state of this consent. If not active by default, all YouTube videos which you have added to your website will be replaced by the “Consent Notice Text In Content” content which you have specified above.

Here you can select a static image which will be displayed instead of YouTube videos.

Vimeo

This consent controls the embedding of Vimeo videos in your website.

Required

You can decide if this consent is a required one. Required consent means it is always active and cannot be deactivated by the website visitor.

Active by default

Here you can select the default state of this consent. If not active by default, all Vimeo videos which you have added to your website will be replaced by the “Consent Notice Text In Content” content which you have specified above.

Here you can specify the description text for this consent.

Consent Poster

Here you can select a static image which will be displayed instead of Vimeo videos.

Required

With this consent type you can add any required consent to the privacy policy modal to inform your website visitors about some required aspects of your website usage. One example is “Privacy Policy” consent as described above: by using the website a website visitor agrees that he has read and agreed to the privacy policy of your website.


Privacy Preferences Overlay Styling

If you wish to customize the look of the privacy policy overlay and modal, just activate the “Use custom styles” checkbox to get styling settings: colors, fonts etc.
