Translating Teams, Quickfinders, Portfolios, Testimonials, and Other Custom Post Types

TheGem theme comes with a few custom post types:

• Portfolio Items
• Quickfinders
• Teams
• Galleries
• Clients
• Testimonials

You can translate custom post types the same way you would translate posts and pages. But first, you need to make sure these custom post types are set as translatable.

By default, only the Portfolio Items post type is translatable. You can make the other custom post types multilingual, but you first need to make them translatable:

1. Go to WPML → Settings and scroll down to Post Types Translation.

2. Set the custom post types you want to translate to one of the two Translatable options.
