How to enable single team person pages and team archives?

Enabling Team Person Page and Team Archives

By default, the "team" post type is not public, meaning posts and archives for this post type are not visible on the front end. You can add team members and group them into "Teams" to display in grids, but there are no individual pages for team persons or archive pages displaying all members of a selected team.

If you want to enable single pages for team persons and archive pages for teams, follow these steps via the Theme Options:

  1. Navigate to Theme Options -> TheGem Posttypes -> Team Persons.
  2. Enable the Team Person Page setting.
  3. Save your settings.
  4. Refresh the Theme Options page.

After completing these steps, the team post type will be available under Single Pages and Archive Pages in Theme Options.

Customizing the Team Person Page Layout

To adjust the layout of individual team member pages:

  1. Go to Theme Options -> Single Pages -> Team Persons.
  2. Customize the layout using either the built-in settings or templates created with TheGem templates builder. (Learn more about single post templates)

Customizing Team Archive Pages Layout

To adjust the layout of team archive pages:

  1. Navigate to Theme Options -> Archive Pages -> Team Persons Archives.
  2. Adjust the layout settings, as you would for other archive pages. You can use the built-in layout settings or templates from TheGem templates builder. (Learn more about archive templates)
