Archives Specific Elements

As said above, you can add any content elements available in page builder to your archives template. However, the mostly used elements are archives specific elements like posts extended grid, blog list, archive title etc. which content is populated dynamically from the archives data. Here we will describe briefly archives specific elements.

Posts Extended Grid

This element helps you to add grid / list with posts to your archives template.

After adding this element, by default, the “Posts Archive” will be selected as posts source. This means that posts from the corresponding archive will be dynamically used and displayed.

You can also change the posts source from “Posts Archive” to manual selection by selecting the corresponding post type to show in the “Show” field and making the additional selections in “Source” field. In this case you can select any posts (by category, by tags, by posts selection etc.) to be displayed in your blog archive template. This is useful for adding additional blog sections like “You may also like”, “Recent Posts”, “Popular Posts” etc. to your blog archive template.
