Portfolio Page

Here you can enable separate settings for all portfolio pages, which will override global website settings (tier 1) and will apply only on portfolio pages (tier 2). All options listed here will be reflected in all your portfolio pages unless you specify different settings in single portfolio page options (tier 3).

By default, this separate portfolio page settings will be applied on all new portfolio pages. However, using “Apply on all existing portfolio pages” button in each of the settings sections you can apply this settings on all existing portfolio pages, which have been created earlier.

Note: by applying on existing portfolio pages all current settings of this portfolio pages will be overwritten.

General Settings

Parent Page for Portfolio Items: Select the main parent page for your portfolio items. This setting is useful for defining your breadcrumb structure on portfolio pages.

Rewrite Slug: Here you can define your own slug to appear as part of portfolio's URL. By default /pf/ is used.

IMPORTANT: after changing this slugs, please visit "Permalink Settings" page and click on "Save changes".

Content Layout

In this section you can specify the content layout settings for the portfolio page using the "Layout Source" control. This defines the general layout for the content part of the blog post, i.e. the area between the header/title area and footer.

Layout Source

TheGem includes built-in settings for content layout of portfolio pages as well as templates builder, allowing you to create portfolio page templates with page builder. Here you can specify, which type of content layout settings to use globally across your blog posts.

Appearance

Settings to control appearance of different elements on your portfolio page. Check the screenshots in help tooltips to see where it is used.

Note: these settings appear only in case "Built-In Settings" have been selected as Layout Source.
