Blog Archives

Blog archives are the pages like blog categories and blog tags.

Here you can enable separate settings for all blog archives, which will override global website settings (tier 1) and will apply only on blog archives (tier 2). All options listed here will be reflected in all your blog archives unless you specify different settings in page options of separate blog archive (tier 3).

By default, this separate blog archives settings will be applied on all new blog archives. However, using “Apply on all existing blog archives” button in each of the settings sections you can apply this settings on all existing blog archives, which have been created earlier.

Note: by applying on existing blog archives all current settings of this blog archives will be overwritten.

Content Layout

In this section you can specify the content layout settings for the blog archives using the "Layout Source" control. This defines the general layout for the content part of the blog archive, i.e. the area between the header/title area and footer.

Layout Source

TheGem includes built-in settings for content layout of blog archives as well as templates builder, allowing you to create blog archive templates with page builder. Here you can specify, which type of content layout settings to use globally across your blog posts.
