How to Use Loop Item Templates in Archives?

Built-In Archive Layouts

To use the loop item templates in archive pages with built-in archive layouts, proceed as follows (here we show an example of applying the loop item template to built-in blog archive layouts - the same steps are applicable for any other custom post archive pages and search results page):

  1. Go to Theme Options > Archive Pages > Blog Archives
  2. In "Skin Source," select "Templates Builder"
  3. In "Select Loop Item Template," choose the respective loop item template you wish to apply
  4. Save changes

Archive Templates

To use the loop item templates in archive templates you need to create the archive template first. Learn more on how to create archive templates in this article.

While creating the archives template use the Posts Extended Grid content element to add the archive loop to your archives template. Learn more about the Posts Extended Grid element in following articles:

After adding the Posts Extended Grid element to the archive template using the page builder:

  • use the "Skin Source" field to switch to the Templates Builder.
  • After that, in the "Select Loop Item Template" field you can choose the loop item template which you wish to apply to this listing:
